Big Brothers Big Sisters, Atlanta Falcons Raise Record-Breaking $700K for Youth Mentorship

On May 7, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta (BBBSMA) hosted its seventh annual Fashion Play event at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, bringing together more than 400 guests for an evening celebrating the power of mentorship while raising $700,000 to support youth mentoring programs throughout Metro Atlanta.

Presented by the Atlanta Falcons and supported by Diamond Sponsors First Horizon, Georgia Power, and Genuine Parts Company, Fashion Play featured Falcon’s legends and current stars walking the runway with Bigs and Littles from the BBBSMA program. The event was hosted by Falcons alumnus Harry Douglas, with Coy Wire serving as emcee.

“The Atlanta Falcons are proud to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta’s seventh annual Fashion Play. Whether a family member, a teacher, a coach or a community leader, we all have mentors in our lives who have made an impact on who we are as people,” Greg Beadles, President and CEO of Atlanta Falcons said. “The importance of mentorship and defending the potential of young people is at the core of Fashion Play. Our players are passionate about giving back to the community, and this event provides a unique opportunity for them to engage with young people and help build their confidence as they walk the runway alongside their mentors.”

Longtime BBBSMA supporter Arthur M. Blank, owner of the Atlanta Falcons, attended the event and continued his seven-year tradition of championing Fashion Play and mentorship across metro Atlanta.

The event also brought together a cross-section of Atlanta’s sports community, with representation from the Atlanta United FC, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Dream, Atlanta Vibe, and the Atlanta Braves. Athletes and leaders from these franchises helped celebrate the night and underscore the powerful role sports play in mentorship, opportunity, and impact across our city.

“It was inspiring to see so many supporters come together at Mercedes-Benz Stadium to celebrate our Littles,” shared Ciara Green, event co-chair. “Watching our Littles walk along the runway alongside their mentors and Atlanta Falcons players is a powerful reminder of how transformative these relationships can be for young people,” said Angela Blank, event Co-Chair.

Fashion Play 2026 was the most successful to date, uniting the business, sports, and philanthropic communities around BBBSMA’s mission to ignite the power and promise of youth.
