ATLANTA – For the first time ever, thirty Bigs and Littles from a nationwide talent search took center stage with the opportunity to perform on the iconic Macy’s “Singing Christmas Tree” float on Thanksgiving morning. The choir spread cheer along the route and performed holiday classics as they heralded the one-and-only Santa Claus live on NBC. BBBSMA is proud to say that among them was our very own Big Brother Karl and Little Brother Kene of Gwinnett County.

BBBSMA's very own match takes the spotlight at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!

Little Brother Kene was selected for the honor in part thanks to his musical abilities. He is skilled in playing multiple instruments and dreams of becoming a music producer.

Big Brother Karl has been a Big to three Little Brothers now -- and has been a Big for 19 years!

Karl and Kene, who’ve been matched for four years, enjoyed choice accommodations and plenty of New York City holiday activities alongside their families during the exciting week of festivities.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta couldn’t be more proud to see one of our own Matches spreading joy to the entire Nation.
