Level Up students experience “Big for a Day”

Big for a Day continues to make an impact across BBBSMA’s Level Up program, bringing mentorship and real-world learning directly to middle school students throughout the metro Atlanta community.

In partnership with Delta Community Credit Union, the experience connected students with professionals who serve as mentors for the day, guiding them through interactive activities focused on financial literacy, leadership, and personal growth.

Approximately 40 sixth-grade students at both Jonesboro Middle School and Sylvan Hills Middle School participated in Big for a Day.

Students gained a foundational understanding of financial responsibility and confidence in decision-making skills. At Jonesboro Middle School, the partnership resulted in a $1,500 STEM grant, expanding opportunities for continued learning.

Big for a Day reinforces the importance of education and financial confidence. As the program continues to grow, it remains focused on preparing young people for successful, purpose-driven futures.
