BBBS of the Chattahoochee Valley Celebrates Merge with Metro Atlanta!
ATLANTA — In February, BBBSMA proudly announced our merger with BBBS of the Chattahoochee Valley and this spring the agency held a celebratory Kickoff Event in Columbus, GA!
This joining of agencies aims to enhance programs, resources, and outreach to assist the Chattahoochee Valley team in serving a greater number of young people and championing youth in the Columbus area. The milestone event not only marked the collaboration but it highlighted the impact of communities coming together to defend the potential of young people.
“This now enables the local office to do even more work - to use our infrastructure in Atlanta, our best practices, our programs that we’ve been working on for many years and come implement more of that here in the Chattahoochee Valley,” said Kwame Johnson, President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters Metro Atlanta.
Bigs, Littles, and families came together to enjoy a wonderful evening of food, drinks, live music, games, and even an exciting raffle!
