Little Brother of the Year Invited to be Honorary Team Captain at Atlanta United FC Match
MLS soccer club Atlanta United FC named Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta (BBBSMA) Little Brother of the Year, Brayan, as their Honorary Captain for the September 17th match vs. Philadelphia Union at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Big Brother Christian and Little Brother Brayan were awarded the honor of “Match of the Year” by BBBSMA staff earlier this year. Brayan and Christian have been matched since March 2014 and quickly formed a bond over a shared love of soccer.
Christian & Brayan, Christian’s wife, Brayan’s mother, and BBBSMA staff were invited to the match to support the Honorary Team Captain.
Little Brother Brayan took the pitch with the team at the beginning of the game and was introduced to the United fans on the big screens at Mercedes-Benz Stadium! Brayan appreciated the honor — enjoying the match up-close with his Big Brother and mother.
