Level Up Match of the Year: Terrance Jackson and Cameron
Big Appreciation Night gave us the opportunity to celebrate mentors who show up with consistency and care. We were proud to honor our Level Up Match of the Year, Big Brother Terrance Jackson and Little Brother Cameron.

Cameron is in his second year in the Level Up Program through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta. He attends Ralph J. Bunche Middle School, where he continues to grow into a confident student and leader. His progress reflects his commitment to becoming a better version of himself and the guidance he receives from Terrance.
During his first year in the program, Cameron focused on making strong decisions that would shape his future. He stepped into leadership and earned a position as secretary of the Student Government Association. He pushed himself outside his comfort zone and secured spots on the football and baseball teams, accomplishments requiring discipline and focus.
One moment captured his character in a lasting way. Cameron saw a fellow student struggling with bullying and chose to step in. He walked with him to class, listened, and offered support. His actions showed empathy and courage.
Now in eighth grade, Cameron continues to build momentum. He is on track to earn A/B Honor Roll. He made both the football and basketball teams. He sets high goals for himself and shares those goals with his mentor, including helping Terrance earn Mentor of the Year. Their connection reflects trust, accountability, and mutual respect.
Cameron is a strong student and athlete. He is also a young man who leads with compassion and intention. Terrance’s steady presence has helped create space for that growth. Their match shows what mentorship can look like when commitment and belief meet opportunity.
