Celebrating the Launch of EmpowHER: A New Women’s Giving Circle
On June 4, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta officially launched our new women’s giving circle with an inspiring evening at Thompson Buckhead. The evening featured a vibrant mix of networking and empowering conversations.

EmpowHER brought together 45 dynamic women committed to lifting each other up. Among the guests in attendance were Alexandra Ginsberg (Young Leaders Council President and proud Big Sister), Chasity Dorsey (BBBSMA alumna), and Dr. Tiffany Jamison-Rand (BBBSMA Board Member).
Dr Tiffany Jamison-Rand, our featured guest panelist, led a powerful discussion moderated by Maria Miller, BBBSMA’s Director of Individual Giving. Their conversation left everyone in the room feeling supported.
One of the most moving moments of the night came when a former Little, now a pre-dentistry student at Florida A&M University, shared the panel with a successful Black female dentist who built and sold the multi-million-dollar Polish Dental Centers.
Essential takeaways from the night emphasized the importance of reminding girls and women that “they are enough” and the transformative power of women coming together for good.
