Bigs Swing Fore Littles Golf Event Raises $180,000
ATLANTA – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta (BBBSMA) held its 12th Annual Bigs Swing Fore Littles 18-hole golf tournament on October 30, 2023, at The Golf Club of Georgia in Alpharetta, GA.
Over 130 golfers enjoyed an sunny day on the course with various games, raffles, an Arby’s lunch, prizes, and a catered open bar reception! It was a perfect end to the day with over $180,000 raised to support a diverse range of mentoring relationships that defend, inspire, and empower the potential of the youth of Metro Atlanta.
“This year we raised $180,000 at Bigs Swing Fore Littles which enables us to make more matches and serve more youth. Youth today are navigating many challenges in this post Covid world,” said Kwame Johnson, President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta. “The support we have raised this year enables us to meet the need for more mentorship in the communities we serve.”
