Atlanta United Hosts BBBSMA for Unforgettable Match Experience Featuring Little Sister of the Year as Night’s Honorary Captain

Atlanta, GA – Atlanta United FC made the recent match against New York an unforgettable experience for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta (BBBSMA) community, showcasing incredible hospitality and sportsmanship during their victorious game.
On this special night, nine Big/Little Matches, along with BBBSMA staff, had the honor of cheering on the team as they secured a big win. Highlighting the event was the celebration of our very own Little Sister of the Year, Aaliyah, who was named the night’s Honorary Captain. Aaliyah had the unique opportunity to witness the game alongside Big Sister of the Year, RaKya Burkes, and her family, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
This partnership exemplifies the power of community and mentorship, bringing people together to support and inspire the next generation. The enthusiasm and energy from the fans, combined with the warmth of Atlanta United FC, made for an incredible evening that touched the hearts of everyone involved.
"We are immensely grateful to Atlanta United FC for their generosity and for providing our Littles with such an inspiring experience," said a representative from BBBSMA. "This partnership reinforces the importance of mentorship and community support in shaping the futures of young individuals."
As the night ended on a high note, both organizations celebrated not just a victory on the field, but a victory for community engagement and positive influence.
