Metro Atlanta Volunteers Enjoy Big Networking Event

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta’s (BBBSMA) Young Leaders Council (YLC) hosted a Big Engagement event at Dr. Scofflaw’s at The Works on April 28^th, 2022. After almost two years of virtual events, current, former, & prospective Bigs, BBBSMA staff, and YLC members gathered for an in-person meetup. The metro Atlanta volunteers were there to inform and encourage adults interested in becoming Bigs on what it means to defend the potential of youth.

The event created a space for all to connect and build meaningful community. It also granted BBBSMA staff members and board members the opportunity to meet and make connections.

In total, we had 50 participants attend! 26 current Bigs, 3 former Bigs, 3 prospective Bigs, 4 HYPE members, and 14 other individuals, including but not limited to BBBSMA staff members and stakeholders. We are certainly looking forward to the next Big engagement event!
