Little Sisters “Say Yes to the Prom Dress” Event

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, in partnership with Sisters United Atlanta, recently hosted a “Say Yes to the Prom Dress” Event at BBBSMA headquarters in Midtown Atlanta. 22 of our Little Sisters in their Junior or Senior year attended the event. Little Sisters were able to select a prom dress courtesy of Angela’s Formal Wear for their prom night.

The event also featured a prom jewelry raffle giveaway, beauty tips from a professional makeup artist, prizes for essay contest winners, and a walk down the “pink carpet.” Juliet Udeochu, organizer of the event, commented on the importance of engaging our high school-aged Little Sisters saying, “This was such a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our Little Sisters and ensure that every girl feels and looks like a queen on their prom night.”
