Fashion Show Featuring Atlanta Falcons Boosts Big Brothers Big Sisters with $260K for Local Youth
ATLANTA – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta (BBBSMA) is pleased to announce the overwhelming success of their 5th Annual Fashion Play event, held on May 8th, 2024, at the magnificent Atlanta History Center. With the enthusiastic support of over 300 attendees, the event raised more than $260,000 for BBBSMA's life-changing youth mentoring programs, setting a new fundraising record.
The star-studded program featured current Atlanta Falcons' football heroes, including Grady Jarrett, Jessie Bates III, Bijan Robinson, Younghoe Koo, Barry Wesley, Donavan Mutin, KhaDarel Hodge, Liam McCullough, Matt Bergeron, Milo Eifler, Ray Ray McCloud, and Willington Previlon.
Legendary NFL alums, including event host Harry Douglas, emcee DJ Shockley, John Abraham, Michael Jenkins, and Roddy White, also showed their support for metro Atlanta's youth. The Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders and the iconic Freddie Falcon joined the catwalk as well, alongside some of the inspiring Bigs and Littles from the BBBSMA program.
BBBSMA appreciates the generosity of its partners -- Atlanta Falcons, Dillard’s, and Fox 5 Atlanta -- who help make this event truly spectacular year after year. A special shoutout goes to Presenting Sponsors, Fifth Third Bank and Michael Kors, whose crucial support made Fashion Play a resounding success.

Harry Douglas, ESPN Analyst & former Atlanta Falcons Wide Receiver, served as the event's host for the fourth consecutive year. Fox 5 anchor and former Falcons QB DJ Shockley emceed the program along with “Voice of the Falcons” Dave Archer and presenter Ronnell Blackmon. Heading up the event committee were co-chairs Angela Blank and Jewanna Gaither.
