Financial investments like these allow us to continue to defend the potential of Atlanta’s youth- together.  Through one-to-one and other mentoring models, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta has remained focused on 1) increasing academic success, 2) supporting college and career readiness, and 3) promoting social-emotional wellness in youth. For the 2021 school year, our more than 1200 Littles across metro Atlanta (12 counties) achieved extraordinary outcomes:

  • 99% were promoted to the next grade on time
  • 97% of high school seniors graduated on time
  • 92% of graduating seniors reported plans to pursue college, trade school, or the military
  • 99% did not become involved in the juvenile justice system
