Jasmine Crowe, 2020 Legacy Award Honoree

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta is an organization dedicated to building relationships that help make positive change in communities facing adversity. Our 2020 Legacy Awards honoree, Jasmine Crowe, has made meaningful change that positively impacts our agency and underserved areas throughout Georgia. Each year, the Legacy Award is given to a leader who brings about substantial progress in communities and industries while supporting our mission as defenders of potential.

Crowe is an award-winning entrepreneur who is striving to make the world a better place one cause at a time. Her main focus is to foster change and generate awareness around important socioeconomic issues including poverty, food waste and hunger. After years of feeding people experiencing homelessness from her kitchen, she launched Goodr in 2017. Goodr is a sustainable waste management app that leverages technology to combat hunger.

She has been featured on Forbes, CNBC, Oprah Magazine, Inc., Fast Co. and NY Times. Also, Entrepreneur Magazine named her as one of the top 100 influential female founders. Under her leadership, Goodr has redirected over two million pounds of surplus food from restaurants, event centers, airports and businesses to millions of people in need of food. Goodr clients now include SAP, Netflix, Hartsfield Jackson Airport and Georgia World Congress Center to name a few.

Congratulations, Jasmine Crowe! Thank you for your extraordinary contributions to our organization and society as a whole!
